Characteristics.
- Also known by other names: Alloy C276, Hastelloy C or Inconel C-276.
- Super nickel alloy, molybdenum, chromium and tungsten addition.
- Excellent corrosion resistance, to pitting and crevice corrosion in reducing environments, and oxidation.
- It has excellent resistance to strong oxidizing solutions salts, such as ferric and cupric chloride.
- Is used in severe environments such as chemical processes, production control, production of pulp and paper, industrial waste treatment, etc.
- Other applications sour gas wells, pharmaceuticals and food processing equipment, pipes for gas desulfurization systems, pipelines, etc.
- Stretching can be forged by impact.
- It can be spun, stretched, embossed or perforated.
